2. Services

African Surfer provides forecast-driven surf guiding experiences in Europe and Morocco. Services include:

  • Daily swell analysis and positioning strategy
  • Ground transport to surf spots
  • Accommodation (private rooms)
  • Local lineup knowledge and guidance

Services do not include flights, meals, equipment, or travel insurance.

3. Booking and Payment

Bookings are confirmed after a consultation call and receipt of a deposit. Final payment is due 30 days before the trip start date.

Prices are quoted in Euros (€). Payment details will be provided upon booking confirmation.

4. Cancellation Policy

  • More than 60 days before departure: Full refund minus €100 administration fee
  • 30–60 days before departure: 50% refund
  • Less than 30 days before departure: No refund

If African Surfer cancels a trip due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another date.

5. Participant Requirements

Participants must:

  • Be experienced surfers capable of handling varied conditions without instruction
  • Be physically fit for surfing activities
  • Hold valid travel insurance covering surf-related activities
  • Have valid travel documents for all destinations

6. Assumption of Risk

Surfing is an inherently dangerous activity. By booking, you acknowledge that you:

  • Understand the risks involved in surfing, including but not limited to drowning, impact injuries, and marine life encounters
  • Participate voluntarily and assume full responsibility for your own safety
  • Will follow safety guidance provided by the guide

7. Liability

African Surfer acts as a guide and facilitator. We are not liable for:

  • Personal injury, illness, or death resulting from surfing activities
  • Loss or damage to personal property
  • Changes to itinerary due to weather, swell conditions, or circumstances beyond our control
  • Actions of third-party service providers (accommodation, transport)

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.

8. Travel Insurance

Participants are required to hold comprehensive travel insurance that covers:

  • Surfing and water sports activities
  • Medical expenses and emergency evacuation
  • Trip cancellation and interruption

9. Conduct

Participants are expected to:

  • Respect local communities and environments
  • Follow surf etiquette in the lineup
  • Behave responsibly and not endanger others

African Surfer reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is deemed unacceptable, without refund.

10. Changes to Itinerary

Our trips are forecast-driven. Routes, accommodations, and surf spots may change based on conditions. This flexibility is a core feature of the service, not a deviation from it.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Frankfurt am Main.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of booking applies to your trip.
